Mutalism in Organism
Mutualism : - Mutualism is a relationship where two organisms live closely together and both benefit. The flagellates in a termite's guts are a good example. Without the flagellates, the termite would not have any food. The flagellates receive food and the correct temperature and moisture levels for survival. Both organisms depend upon each other for their survival.
The cleaner shrimp eats parasites on the skin of the fish. Both the cleaner shrimp and the fish cleans benefit, so this is an example of mutualism.
Pollination is another example of mutualism. Many flowering plants depend on animals to pollinate Pollination is the transport of pollen (containing the male sex cells) to the female parts of the flower. Pollination results in seeds. Animals such as honey eater birds benefit from the relationship by obtaining food in the form of a sugary liquid (nectar).
